Finally banning books, empowering racists and nazis, outlawing what women can do on their own body, destroying the check and balances and appeasing dictators around the world will finally make the price of eggs go down.

You know, I was very worried about the price of my precious eggs that I voted for a bunch of fascists who will likely never do anything about the eggs.

But I didn't know it will be applied to ME, just to the people I hate!

You're not reading too much into it. It's just that 70 million people are too stupid to realize that

I talked to a Jehovah Witness and he said he'd have voted for trump because God sent him...

Nice. I'd like to read your journey in creating it. I like you're consistent with it

Did you come up with this or is it a real language?

[–] tired_n_bored@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago (4 children)

What language is that

The United States of America will die as we know it

Russia may have not conquered Ukraine, but it surely conquered the USA. We lost the cold war.

But seriously, what is the difference between being under Trump or under Putin? The former is identical to the latter and will also share with him all intelligence data. The US will be Belarus 2.

The coalition to resist fascism should have existed 2 days ago

Biden got 81M votes, Harris 67. Where are the missing 15M people? Where were they?

Well the following is my unscientific belief:

Social media algorithms are studied to make you see always the same kind of beliefs and everything opposing them is discouraged. They incentive inflammatory, divisive and hateful content in order to obtain more engagement, especially on Twitter.

If they used Mastodon or Lemmy, those people would be less tense.

Why do some subreddits are labeled "Shown via [my instance]", whereas other do not? What is the difference if something is seen "via" my instance?

Can I also kindly ask why I am able to see banned subreddits when they're now shown via my instance?

I'm asking because I've never seen this on Mastodon

Sorry, maybe this question has already been asked (but can't find it), what are some good Lemmy open source clients for Android? All the ones I'm trying are really buggy and glitchy.

Android 13
