My grandfather had a Favre Leuba watch in gold case and dial but no one knows where it is and I've actually never had anything like that passed on to me.
She knows how much I love watches and how i'm always going on about buying my first Swiss Made watch but since im still a medical intern i can't afford a swiss made luxury watch just yet so my girlfriend found an online seller who deals in vintage watches and bought me two Favre Leuba watches.
This is a Sea Chief from 60's, I suppose which is 34mm. The dial looks repainted but they did a decent job with it. I'll take it to my local watch maker to open up the back to see if the movement is still original.
I don't care if it's a Franken watch, I love how it looks and it's now priceless to me
My dream collection right here. Seamaster and speedmaster over sub and daytona, I'd only want a white gold fluted bezel datejust as my grail rolex. Love the GS Spring drive, Tank, and mandatory Seiko and Casio. Citizen somehow feels out of place here, unless you keep it in rotation or it has sentimental value to you. 10/10 collection
