I think players have some input on what they get listed at. Also since there are a couple centimetres gaps between the inches they can always claim to have been rounding incorrectly, for example LeBron isn't 6'9 but he's taller than 6'8

Aha fair enough but he was also a professional basketball player before the NBA.

50 year old KD will be a 7 fter

 

Pretty interesting fact I found out. I wonder if the NBA will roll back their limitations on High School drafts again.

 

It has been known for a long time KD was listed at 6'9 which may have been his height entering the league, but after a few years he grew (very evidently) and was closer to 7ft. After 10+ years the NBA listed him at 6'10 and this year, finally he is listed at 6'11 officially.
