If the main platform has weird looking instances, I can't imagine the forks being much better.

Though I guess I could just set up on another instance and mostly follow content from different ones if they're federated.

I'm also pretty lazy and last time I tried that I got pretty discouraged.

I wish there was a way to sign up for the main instance outside of Japan.

Even though the vast majority of streamers do stream for 0 viewers, the idea is that they will get a viewer eventually.

I am not an accountant but from what I know, taxing stuff like compensation in the form of stocks is pretty hard to do.

I'm not disagreeing with you, the system is just rigged in favor of very wealthy people.

The people who make that kind of money don't make it through wages but other compensation.
