This guy needs media/PR training so bad. Regardless of how he’s playing or what situation he is in, this quote is such a terrible response. There’s so many ways he could have answered that question differently.
“We’re not looking to compete against other leagues” what a chickenshit answer. He knows exactly what Barkley meant, and completely side stepped it.
I honestly believe that somewhere down the line after he has retired, Draymond is gonna be in the news for something crazy. The dude has real anger issues and once he doesn’t have the outlet of basketball, it might be a real struggle for him.
