Don't they offer a ton of different payment methods though? Granted most of them aren't global, but their FAQ lists dozens of options.

Thats a noble principle but it doesn't really work when the game is an older or somewhat obscure one without much developer support left. Especially online games that have some fuckery preventing them from running via proton/wine.
I know it's more of an edge case, but theres dozens of us holding onto some shitty 20-year old MMOs
Also it's only a viable solution as long as there are countries that don't have age verification laws. 10 years from now there's going to be a very busy VPN endpoint somewhere in Antarctica.

Yeah, I've blocked every US-specific community I've seen on the everything feed but it keeps spilling into seemingly unrelated communities too. And it's only going to get worse.
