nah not really, there weren't any such serious ramblings at that time, everyone was stoked to see the battle of LA. Clippers were a new team and everyone wanted to see them matched up against LeBron and AD. Ramblings started only until the semis were over, and especially after the nba finals.
I personally don't care much what lies clippers fans or players tell to themselves, but you don't get to rewrite history. especially not on something most of us still remember personally, and which is literally a subject of a simple reddit or google history search
