You know, I knew that but couldn't figure out what the opposite of weight was for some reason. Thanks for the extra learning!
Fun fact: Coffins experience this force too, and during flooding can rise up out of the ground

Manholes themselves are expected to do the opposite of holding weight
They hold light?
This is something I think about from time to time and essentially get nowhere.
I try and live-capture and release bugs from my house (the only things I actively kill in this regard is mosquitos).I also hunt/fish.
If I saw a deer trapped on a frozen lake I'd go out and rescue it, yet I'd shoot that same deer in a different place under a different context. It's not really consistent, except in intentionality I suppose.
I do place a higher value on the life of animals that are more "intelligent" (in a way that feels more human) compared to other animals. For example, I'm not upset at all when I use hand sanitizer and presumably wipe out a whole swath of life, but I'm sad if a bird hits a window and dies. Part of that is the intentionality again maybe? The bacteria "had" to die, and the bird didn't; I'd feel less bad about the bird if I saw a natural predator take it down but it's still more upsetting than even unintentionally killing an insect.
The first. Those injuries were done decades ago, and yet they are just appearing now to the surprise of the character.
If that's how the time travel "works" in this universe somehow, then Bruce Willis disappearing at the end contradicts this.
Looper when they're "torturing" the one guy and his body parts are disappearing one after another.
True, although likely spread over a longer period of time and over multiple tenants. You're not paying for the new roof after just renting a couple of years for example.
Where I live, the break-even point is about 3 years last I checked where it's cheaper to rent assuming you could buy if you wanted to (realtor fees are a part of this since they essentially run a cartel, speaking of parasites...). That's assuming no major maintenance needed otherwise that changes the math.
Earth, fire, wind, water, kink
Wireless ear buds.
I was pretty adamant that I was absolutely never going to get any, preferring wired and really looking for a phone that still had the jack. Then when new phone time came, I ended up having to choose between a micro sd card slot and the headphone jack. I tried for a bit with a USB-C to headphone adapter but ended up seeing some ear buds on sale and giving them a shot.
They last way longer than I expected, and the carrying case as the charger means I hardly need to worry about keeping another device charged. The freedom of not having the cord is really nice, especially when going for a bike ride or jog. I upgraded to a pair with a little over-the-ear hook and use them probably 10hrs a day every day they are great
WHAT?! They aren't mother and daughter? My whole life is a lie
So, not intended for food? Not sure I'd trust that plastic for direct food contact
They've remembered they are DB Cooper
Unless there's a butterfly or moth that one of the sexes doesn't pupate that I'm not aware of, this ends of looking creepy...
