Well that's definitely not what I expected. I got this as a gift for working at a company making electrical panels. Thank you!

Copper plated aluminium is also very common everywhere

Meh, Hitler prepared his speeches thoroughly and actually knew how to hold a convincing speech

In Finland we use MobilePay for that. Rarely cash.

Every electric heater is 100% efficient. In fact heaters are the only things that can be that efficient

For CPUs it's pretty bad. It says the Intel i3-9100f (4 core, 4 thread 3.6GHz) is just as good as the AMD Ryzen 7 3700x (8 core, 16 thread 3.6GHz) even though the actual difference is massive.

They are very cool indeed. And the fact that you can have a century old watch on your wrist and it's just as useful as a modern one. In fact I'm wearing a watch from the 50s right now!

A bit different than others, but every time I ride my bike, I have the equipment to patch a tire with me.

It's only dangerous if youd don't take some precautions. My D4V2 lives in lockout (needs 4 rapid taps of the power button to turn on), clipped to my pocket. Pretty much no way for anything to press the button even once.

Microsoft Teams comes up with an unknown error on Firefox, which gets magically fixed when changing user agent...

Upgrades include:

  • Frame made of steel tube
  • E3D V6 clone and E3D titan clone
  • Noctua heatbreak fan
  • SKR Mini E3 V3 board
  • Raspberry Pi running Klipper
  • G10 build sheet
  • Bed insulation
  • ATX power supply
  • BLTouch

Probably missed a few in the list

The settings on KDE show this info about my computer after buying a used motherboard. Apparently it came from a prebuilt, though it is a standard ASUS board. Where does this branding come from and is it possible to remove it?

The branding also shows in inxi:

Machine: Type: Desktop System: PC Specialist product: Tornado R7S v: N/A serial: <superuser required> Mobo: ASUSTeK model: PRIME B450-PLUS v: Rev X.0x serial: <superuser required> part-nu: 1744753 UEFI: American Megatrends v: 4402 date: 12/13/2023

We had 3 or 4 sets.

And if you look closely, you can see some illegally placed pieces that somehow weren't noticed when placed
