Hey! I wished to gift my mother a watch and I need your help. I am from India, and older women in India (like my mom) majorly wear watches only on occasions. And it is considered more of a jewelry piece than a watch. Moreover, she prefers smaller dials. So, I wish to gift her a watch that looks like a jewelry and has an ornamental look to it. My budget is around 1000 USD. I know getting precious metals would not be possible in this budget but I would prefer to gift her that. Moreover, being a watch enthusiast, I have taken aback all the urges to gift her an automatic watch from a very well reputed brand because to her the watch must look like a jewelry piece matters more and it being automatic etc. is not as important. In layman terms, my mother would prefer a watch that has gold coloring, has diamonds maybe, has some stones maybe, etc. She really likes the serpenti but the watch is too expensive.
