If your girlfriend is not fluent in french, I wouldnt go there if I was you.
Depending on your profession you could consider the UK or Ireland - or the Netherlands (or even Sweden, Norway) or larger cities in Austria or Germany. In either of these places you will get around with English until you picked up enough of the native language and then, people will still talk english with you.

Yeah, I get that this is important to certain people...and that writing better image descriptions leads to better inclusion.
On the other hand, at times it is not really helpful to come around like a snobby-bossy know-it-all that tells people how they are so wrong with what they do...
"Elon is not a Nazi. He may be a liar, a pig, an idiot, a Nazi - But he is NOT a porn star!"
(Grandpa Simpson)
Is he doing this "invisible dick sucking" again?
Picture sure looks like it.
I still have not made up my mind....
Is all of this because all of them are incredibly stupid OR is this by design, is all of this intentional.
Source or gtfo.
I'd say we have more repetitions of this Headline than fentanyl seizures at the border so far this year.
Yet ANOTHER reboot??
Damn, i loved this movie but c'mon.
"Merz had to form a coalition...."
Dude, ever since the BRD exists ALL governments in Germany were coalitions.
Every single one of them.
So, if you dont understand what you talking about about, please read some wiki article or something, and skip the rightwing bullshit propaganda on youtube, ok?
"See, if I am right about something, i was right about it from the start, even if I never said anything about it, ever.
If i am wrong about something, i was clearly making a joke, was sarcastic or, on purpose, exaggerated the issue.
It's your fault, if you don't understand or recognize what i do."
Interesting to read that the article completely fails to explain why the sales drop in other parts of the world (than the US) and how that might be linked to his nazi salute or anything related to his political views.
If that is peak journalism, then its not surprising that analysts from the states get things wrong these days.
Fellow German here.
Want to point out that I had to attend a minute of silence during school after the terror-attacks of 11.09.2001 ("9/11"). And that was ok. I even remember how a teacher got into Trouble for not wanting to do it because we dont do shit like that when "others then westerners" die.
To me, the official reaction of state and media is and was always a question of who dies.
3000 US citizens - gotta have a minute of silence. Same number of dead people world wide due to landmines? C'mon, thats boring and uninteresting!
1200 Israel citizens- jupp, gotta be all down and sad, flags need to be half-masted. 100k Palestinians, c'mon, they had it coming, deserve it, where hiding terrorists....
To me, everything is bad and sad.
But politicians and media here and elsewhere in the west have it nicely separated. All double-standard bs.
