One hour after the debate, I sorted lemmy posts by top of last hour. The first 5 posts were about Vance, the 6th about Trump. Not one with Walz in the headline.

Auch mit der AfD scheint die Zeitung wenig Berührungsängste zu haben. Die »Brandmauer-Rhetorik« nennt der Kolumnist Michael Andrick »Volksverhetzung«. Am Samstag vor den Landtagswahlen in Sachsen und Thüringen werden dem AfD-Vorsitzenden Tino Chrupalla auf anderthalb Seiten freundliche Stichworte zur Darlegung seiner politischen Pläne gereicht, am Montag darauf listet ein Kommentar auf, »was für eine Regierungsbeteiligung der AfD im Osten spricht«.

Viele Artikel über die staatliche Pandemie-Politik und das RKI sind von eifrigem Skandalisierungswillen getrieben. Kolumnist Andrick raunt über 120.000 Tote während der massenhaften Coronaimpfungen. Woran sie wohl gestorben sind? »Alle wissen es.«

»Ich wollte Antworten«, erinnert sich Makejew [ukrainischer Botschafter] an das Treffen. »Warum wurden Journalisten eingestellt, die früher bei russischen Staatsmedien gearbeitet haben? Warum der Besuch in der russischen Botschaft? Warum wird die ›Berliner Zeitung‹ so oft von der russischen Botschaft zitiert? Warum die Nähe zum BSW und anderen ›Friedensfreunden‹?« Befriedigende Erklärungen habe er nicht erhalten.

I just don't get those comments all the time. They arrest 10 times as many people as the average in Mississippi, so it can't be normal.

It's like saying 'nothing to see here'
