Dame is (and has been) one of the worst defenders in the league and his reputation somehow was nowhere near as bad as it should’ve been in that end. Now that he is on a team with huge expectations, casuals should catch on and media should be more fair in calling him out. He deserves as much criticism as someone like Trae. He simply does not try on many possessions.

Martinelli, Rice, and Tomiyasu all on the left is as solid as you can get defensively.

Tomiyasu is the better option in that inverting role than Zinchenko in big games. Doing less is more in this case. Tomiyasu knows the purpose of inverting is to help the midfielders not replace them. Zinchenko always tries to be the focal point of our buildup and it’s always a sign of arsenal playing poorly if he’s seeing too much of the ball. It backfires easily as well because he overestimates his ability on the ball and dawdles in possession and ends up losing it cheaply or playing a shit pass. Tomiyasu knows his limits, keeps it simple, and moves the ball quicker. Plus him and Zinchenko is like heaven and hell in terms of defensive ability.

He didn’t suck with Curry. He just sucked in general last season even though he played better as a starter. He was starting next to Curry when the Warriors got off to that amazing start in the first half of the season 2 years ago before they slowed down due to injuries.

Kawhi. I can’t believe he wasn’t mentioned much. He’s a great scorer even though it doesn’t look like it if you watch him. Even his shot looks like it isn’t going in half the time because it has a flatter trajectory but it does.

Gilbert Arenas himself says the most amount stupid shit. He’s just smarter about not being too outlandish with his takes and playing to what’s favorable to casual fans.
