Best places to visit in February-April (alien.top)
 

Looking to visit 1-2 places in February through April. Thinking probably Latin America and I was originally considering Mexico for February and then maybe Peru for March/April, but in Peru I'd probably want to visit Cusco and Huaraz and I've been reading that it's the rainy season then.

Thinking that February could be spent somewhere warm, probably by a beach, surfing.

Any recommendations? Open to locations outside Latin America as well.

Do any of you regularly go "slowmad" and if so what's your strategy for apartments? in c/digitalnomad@expats.zone

Facebook marketplace and craigslist but beware of scams. Typically I weed out scammers by asking them to hop on a video call to meet and show me the apartment.

Thanks for all the suggestions, everyone. I'm going to try and find a friend I can leave my car with so they can run the engine like once or twice a month. Otherwise will probably look into the variety of storage options you guys mentioned.

How to store my car for about 3 months? (alien.top)
 

Planning on living abroad for 3 months without my car. I plan on keeping my car and will need it when I'm back to continue my travels in North America. I plan on pausing my insurance and doing a "storage plan" so I can start it back up when I'm back. I can't leave it with family because they are thousands of miles away.

Looking for advice on where to store my car for a relatively inexpensive price in the western U.S. Will probably decide which city to fly out of based off of where my car is. This would be in a couple of months, so will probably be through most of winter by then.

Also would greatly appreciate any advice on things to do to keep my car in good condition while I'm gone, like preventive measures.
