Wish there was.
Can't tell you how many times I've went through the embarassment of realizing I left mine at home halfway through a piss.

My guy, I have no clue where this intense level of salt is coming from and I highly suspect the only person who cares so much about whatever has you this upset is you.
If you intended this to be some sort of tongue in cheek humorous thing, it doesn't come off like that at all. It comes off as someone fishing for sympathy while they refuse to be straight forward about what is bothering them.
No one is keeping score on your streak but you. Might be time to take a break. Looks like your last screenshot post was deleted or something anyway.
Additionally, if you care about the upvotes it's generally a really bad idea to complain about them. Just invites drive by downvoting out of spite.
Lastly, for a better way to poke fun at prudes, maybe post completely safe for work screenshots from a game that is exceptionally not safe for work.
I feel like there's a lot of script writers that want the emotional wrenchingness of "this character's personality and history means that they will never see the simple solution" but have no idea how to actually pull it off.
Breaking Bad pulls this off wonderfully multiple times, where the "right" decision is right there but for the character to be able to do it, they couldn't be who we've learned them to be so far.
But most directors amd scriptwriters are nowhere near that level.
Better yet, don't use an explanation at all!
If you establish something as just being part of your setting that is accepted by the characters in it like it's no big deal, you can just move on with the actual plot. If it's not actually going to be relevant to anything plot wise, don't waste time with useless technobabble!
Slap a "Zephyr FTL Communications" logo on the side of the terminal and call it a day. The audience doesn't always need to know how, just what. And show, don't tell.
You can have a character exposition dump about a piece of tech that should be as normal to the other characters as a telephone (so why would anyone talk about it existing casually outside of very specific circumstances), or just... have the character use the damn thing and add a little splash screen on the device "Thank you for using Cisco Intergalactic FTL calls".
If you open the Harbinger dev's page on Steam, their last game (also a "boomer shooter" style fps) is also free.
You haven't been looking in the right places then, I've been seeing it since I started working in IT nearly a decade ago.
It has definitely gotten crappier since I started though.
(Microsoft Admin whining incoming)
More and more snags related to implementation details of ancient functionality that still exists under the hood of their all new shiny crap, but isn't actually documented properly anywhere anymore because rolling out new stuff is more important than finishing documentation on core sysadmin tools multiple years old.
They got rid of all training courses, certs, and learning material for all their on premise stuff in order to push cloud only setups years ago. They are just barely starting to backtrack that, so there's a massive gap in official documentation.
Thank god my team has enough requisite greybeards to bridge the gap and train me on what Microsoft wants to pretend isn't still in widespread use.
Pinned thread on this very community.
Thanks for the highlight.
As much as I despise them, that's actually impressive. I wonder how long it will last.
Was this not obvious at the very least when his own board kicked him to the curb due to an inability to trust him?
Please don't put words or intent on me. I've been very direct, and at the very least was not attempting to imply any such ideological agreement.
My minor point was to associate him with what appears to be the main source of his household income. No more, no less. Everyone can decide how much that means to them as they wish.
Judging from the excerpt quoted in my original comment, it has at least been renamed to StudioLab.
counts as him making points from an unsavoury position
Didn't say that it did. It's just something that I didn't know until recently, that I have only seen brought up once in the decade plus of Cory being treated as an important source of truth in this sphere.
I'm not trying to say that it somehow makes him full of shit or anything. Personally it gives me pause about some of his previous rants, and casts a minor amount shade on his position. But I also personally feel that the merits of a point made matter significantly more than the source.
I intentionally said nothing more than the fact itself in my original comment. Everyone is welcome to decide how important or not it is to them personally.
It's exactly the kind of thing that people tend to use to challenge someone's position, so I understand the confusion. Just wish people would stop coming at me like I kicked their puppy for bringing it up.
Cyberpunk Edgerunners is another great one from Trigger. Set in Night City, same world the Cyberpunk 2077 game, a year or so beforehand (but the plots are largely independent).
Real strong warning though: There are no happy endings in Night City. The ending will fuck you up.
