My alma mater does this. They partner with the local school systems and have the local disabled kids enter into a work program. Anything to get them working and have a semblance of self reliance.

Quick, clean civil wars are usually called a coup d’état. Quick purges of the leadership, replacement with people loyal to you, and then life continues on. If your coup fails and you have enougj resources to continue the fight then you get to civil war.

User MKWT explained it fairly well. We have solved all the major issues with fracking, so now the only issue left is oil and gas releases. If we build out renewables as Kamala wants, fracking would be a non issue.

They are using monopoly loosely. To run a podcast through Apple was easy and you could run it on many platforms. On Spotify you are locked into using their services. Just because Apple had the vast majority of podcasts at the beginning did not make them a monopoly, Spotify forcing podcasts to either be on their large platform or not be makes them a monopoly.

Car manufacturers want these changes, mostly because they can sell their cheaper cars here at a high price since the US market is so used to inflated vehicle prices. Cheaper to make, more profit on the sell.
