I maintain that if the Celtics didn't add Holiday, resulting in White having a larger role offensively both as a passer an as a scorer, that he'd be putting up All-Star numbers this season.

Big Al has never gotten the credit he deserves as a defender, but at least people know he sons Embiid.

I hate to be part of the, "Marcus Smart shouldn't have been DPOY!" crowd, but imo if anyone on the 2021-22 Celtics should've been DPOY it wasn't Smart or Robert Williams, it should've been Horford. His defensive communication, rim protection and ability to body up opposing bigs, all while also being a great perimeter defender was the key to unlocking Rob's offball rim protection. Without Horford that defense never works because Rob wouldn't have been able to play offball as much.

I know that right now the Pacers are still in their development phase, but I really hope they manage to secure a legit second star to put next to Haliburton for the future. I need to see this man deep in the playoffs.

I'm not gonna pretend that I think or ever thought Mac Jones was/is some world beater QB(I think his ceiling was Kirk Cousins/Matt Ryan), but his failures are just as much on Belichick's failure to develop him and keep the offense's talent at an acceptable level as it is on Mac.

Mac is only in year 3, and is also on his 3rd OC(one of which was a friggin' defensive coordinator masquerading as an OC), his 3rd straight year of having one of the worst receiver groups in the NFL, and his O-Line has only gotten worse every year of his career.

Surprise surprise that a young pocket passer is gonna struggle under those circumstances.

Watching JJJ, a supposed Center(he's not, but tbf he was expected to be initially when he entered the NBA), get stonewalled by Kuzma as he tried to attack the rim was... Something.
