Hi all Would this placement of the component for a crossover be efficient ? Mistakes? Improvement?

Thanks in advance

I am looking to start a project build and would need to be able to get the kit and flat pack somewhere. What is a good bookshelf speaker to go with? I see a lot of people going with C-Notes over Overnight Sensations, but are there other kits I should be considering? I'd like to keep this under $200 if possible.

Previously I made an OS MMTMM center channel. But no longer have access to the woodworking tools :(

I have two 6.5 inch kicker 46csc654’s and a shitty headunit that I want to throw in a ‘enclosure’. I’m wondering if anybody can help me out finding the ideal enclosure volume for this setup. I am aware that no matter the enclosure size, this setup is going to sound subpar due to a multitude of reasons :)

Ps: Would it be worth it to add a small sub to the setup just to compensate for the extreme lack of mid bass I will be getting from the hypothetical setup?

Thank you in advance :)

I have a soundbar, but I want a true surround sound experience, my tv has arc support, is there any device that can decode arc 5.1 or 7.1 and make saperate outputs for the soundbar I have already and other additional surrounding speakers?

Hey :)

I'd like to try my hand at building speakers someday, specifically I have my eye on Paul Carmody's OS TMM. (I also happen to have a 5x10 sheet of 1/2 MDF previous owners left in the basement).

Paul is really awesome for freely publishing these designs, I'm super grateful. However, as far as building instructions go, it's pretty sparse. I assume it's minimally sufficient information for people with experience with building speakers (or similar woodworking like cabinetry I guess).

I've never done real woodworking, only basic "carpentry" (read: fixing stuff around the house) with your basic circ saw / drill / impact driver / etc. I also have experience with operating metal lathes and milling machines, but I don't think that's super relevant. Where do I start with learning just enough woodworking techniques to be able to build a respectable speaker cabinet? Things like joinery, bracing, glue-ups (should I use screws in addition to glue?), using a router for stuff, maybe even applying veneer...

Are there good youtube tutorials teaching the basic techniques? Or books? Other resources?
