Possible to have surround sound with having a soundbar already? (www.reddit.com)

I have a soundbar, but I want a true surround sound experience, my tv has arc support, is there any device that can decode arc 5.1 or 7.1 and make saperate outputs for the soundbar I have already and other additional surrounding speakers?
