So last Sunday we did grades for every NFL team through week 6. This Sunday, all 32 starting quarterbacks are rated using a new stat called QB Score, or QBS. What makes QBS different from QB Rating or QBR is that each quarterback's rating is dependent on how their statistics compare to their fellow QBs.

This is another grab your coffee and donut kind of deep dive read, so if you do not have time for it, below you will find a chart with QBS, QB Rating & QBR scores and ranks for all 32 starters.

The average score for QBS is essentially zero (-0.05). Thus positive scores are QBs providing positive play, and negative scores show QBs providing less than average play. The further from zero, the better, or worse, the QB play has been.

If you like this kind of stuff you can learn all about QBS, how it is calculated, and why it may be a more useful way of measuring qb performance here: QB Score - Ratings all 32 NFL quarterbacks comparatively.

After week 9, I will re-run all the data and use it to hand out midterm QB grades for every team. The data below ranks QBs through week 7 stats, so a little preview of what to expect.

Since this is a brand new metric, it is open for modification to fine tune it. Please feel free to offer comments, suggestions or criticisms on this thread and they will be taken into account for the QBS calculations done post week 9.

Best of luck to your team today and enjoy the football.

With a slew of injuries afflicting the Seahawks O-line this year, they brought in future-HOF offensive tackle, Jason Peters to the Practice Squad to shore up the depth.

After spending the past few weeks on the PS, mentoring the backups, he's been elevated to the active roster for the Browns game, potentially even starting for them, if the need arises.

At an age of 41 Years and 280 Days, Jason Peters would become 2nd oldest Offensive Lineman to EVER play in an NFL game, surpassing Jackie Slater (who was 41 Years and 169 Days old in his final game played).

The only player older was Ray Brown, who played until he was 43 years old.

For one last little fun note, here's the oldest O-lineman to play for each NFL team

If Kirk was the QB for the Rams instead of Stafford do the Rams still win the SB?

Idk why I get so bent out of shape when former players act this way to the new generation. This is some immature high school BS from Smith

What's your opinion?

Each Saturday this season "NFL Week X" has been trending if you go to the search tab on Reddit. This is typically reserved for trending news stories that are gaining traction. Not much is happening in the NFL today.

NFL Week 8 is the top trend if you look at the search tab right now. I can't think of another reason for it to be the top trend other than the NFL paying Reddit for the exposure to gain viewership on Sundays. Do you think this is accurate or am I off base?

The Diamondbacks being in the World Series had me thinking…

What if in the NFC you had a team like the Falcons go 9-8 with a -10 point differential to win the NFC south. They shock the world and make their way through the NFC playoffs by beating the Cowboys at home, somehow shocking the Eagles on the road and then getting matched up with a wild card Seahawks team that upset division rival 49ers in the divisional round. They beat Seattle in a close game in Atlanta to punch a ticket to the SB.

They go and face a 15-2 Chiefs team that is top 5 on offense and defense and has a +200 point differential. Patrick Mahomes looks as unstoppable as ever down the stretch of the regular season and postseason and KC blows their way through the Bills/Bengals to reach the SB.

What is the point spread in that Super Bowl?
