Okay but a properly fried shrimp is peak with the shell on. Good snappy crunch to it, they help hold the flavor in, wonderful. And for tails I usually don't even care how they're cooked I just go ahead and eat the tails shell in saves a lot of hassle and they're pretty good
Also a good source of [compound that lubricates your joints].

Mmmm bone lube
Depends on the shrimp.
