Yeah, I do think it's the more realistic outcome since, if you look at players like Wall, Westbrook, Morant, Rose, CP3, Kyrie, Fox, etc.....they had it all figured out from Day 1 as young prodigies (those who entered the league under 21). I'm willing to give him time but if Scoot can't figure it out, there's no historical precedence he'll ever be a superstar PG.
Otherwise lol, as someone who wanted a Thompson twin over Scoot and felt both could be Pippen-esque, it'd be a massive disappointment.
Ausar's playstyle literally fixes the Blazers three biggest weaknesses last year - POA defense, rebounding, and secondary ballhandling.
