Long story short ordered a $250 watch from Jomashop on October 11 to Ontario. Should be delivered by Oct 17.

Jomashop gives me a tracking number for DHL. DHL brings it to Canada and gives me a tracking number for a local carrier (Apple Express). Says out for delivery will arrive today but ghosts for days. Few days later updates with “Delivered”. Never received. Therefore, DHL also updated with Delivered status for which Jomashop updated.

Checked details on Apple Express and it says “Delivery Exception - Damaged” and “contact merchant”. Did exactly that and sent Jomashops screenshots of this.

They take an entire month to “investigate the geopolitical location” of the delivery only to tell me that they confirm it was delivered and will not reimburse. Obviously it was never delivered. I’m assuming the Apple Express driver either took it for themselves or something (it’s a terrible company doesn’t respond to support). I’d still expect Jomashop to only rely on trusted carriers and would still expect a reimbursement. Really unhappy with how Jomashop decided to deal with this. I’ve had things not delivered and the vendor usually just reimburses you no questions asked.

Any tips on way I should do?

First off, sorry to hear of this terrible ordeal.

Did you pay for the watch by credit card? If so, you can dispute the charge since you never received what you paid for. While personally I have not had issues, I've also heard negative things about DHL.

DHL repeatedly sends emails and texts asking if you would like to change to a no signature required and deliver it at your door. I refused and ignored it. If I'm paying over a grand for a watch plus a few hundred in duties, damn right I want to be home and sign (I work from home 3 days of the week). No doorbell, knock on the door, just an email stating, your item has been delivered. I live in a stacked townhouse condo development where parcels go missing. I was not impressed with DHL that time. Perhaps it was just that driver as the other times DHL has rang my bell for a signature.
