Long story short ordered a $250 watch from Jomashop on October 11 to Ontario. Should be delivered by Oct 17.

Jomashop gives me a tracking number for DHL. DHL brings it to Canada and gives me a tracking number for a local carrier (Apple Express). Says out for delivery will arrive today but ghosts for days. Few days later updates with “Delivered”. Never received. Therefore, DHL also updated with Delivered status for which Jomashop updated.

Checked details on Apple Express and it says “Delivery Exception - Damaged” and “contact merchant”. Did exactly that and sent Jomashops screenshots of this.

They take an entire month to “investigate the geopolitical location” of the delivery only to tell me that they confirm it was delivered and will not reimburse. Obviously it was never delivered. I’m assuming the Apple Express driver either took it for themselves or something (it’s a terrible company doesn’t respond to support). I’d still expect Jomashop to only rely on trusted carriers and would still expect a reimbursement. Really unhappy with how Jomashop decided to deal with this. I’ve had things not delivered and the vendor usually just reimburses you no questions asked.

Any tips on way I should do?

First off, sorry to hear of this terrible ordeal.

Did you pay for the watch by credit card? If so, you can dispute the charge since you never received what you paid for. While personally I have not had issues, I've also heard negative things about DHL.

DHL repeatedly sends emails and texts asking if you would like to change to a no signature required and deliver it at your door. I refused and ignored it. If I'm paying over a grand for a watch plus a few hundred in duties, damn right I want to be home and sign (I work from home 3 days of the week). No doorbell, knock on the door, just an email stating, your item has been delivered. I live in a stacked townhouse condo development where parcels go missing. I was not impressed with DHL that time. Perhaps it was just that driver as the other times DHL has rang my bell for a signature.

Save screenshots of all the tracking staus pages in case they become unavailable.

Open and shut chargeback. CC company shouldn't hassle you at all, you have 1 tracking number with DHL saying delivered and the subcontractor saying damaged - not delivered. Clear chain of custody to a non-deliver. Plus it's only $250.

Just expect Jomashop to blacklist you. Not that I'd expect you to order from them again...

People should be fucking wary of Jomashop.

I ordered a Hamilton PSR. Get an email that says it was delivered. I don’t see it. I check the area. Not there. I check with the other tenants in the building if they may have taken it, no.

Give it a couple a days, and no parcel.

I emailed Jomashop and they gave me the run around- to check around the lobby, check if any tenants took it. I finally emailed them saying I would threaten a charge back. Get an email the next day saying an “investigator” would “investigate”. Next day, the “investigator” says I should have received the package and there’s nothing they can do. I email them saying it could by the case that it was delivered, but it was no where to be found. They reiterated they delivered it.

Getting nowhere with this shit. I decide to call Jomashop. I spoke with the foreign rep that speaks English that would offend my fucking Hellen Keller. they said nothing they can do, it was delivered and not their problem. I asked to speak with the manager, rep hung up on me.

Fuck it, call Amex.

Called Amex, gave all the info, they refunded and said they would investigate.

All good.

3 weeks later, Amex took away the refund and reinstated the charge. “We investigated and found no fault with the merchant” Fuck You Amex.

Had the Blue cash everyday card or whatever. Purchase protection up to $1000. Filled out the form.

Either they give me a fucking refund because the merchant didn’t deliver or they reimburse me with a purchase protection claim because merchant didn’t deliver, and falls under “lost” claim. Pick one bitch.

Reimbursed.

Moral of the story?

Fuck Jomashop and fuck Amex for finding in favor of the merchant.
