rotten tomatoes is owned by Fandango, IMDB by Amazon, so this makes sense (in the worst way).
What do you think is the reason? I would assume it's mostly for their data? Or would they need with the ranking to help their movies?
i would guess it’s to help rank their own content.
the user data is a bonus.
