I actually think that the 35 Yr olds Hummels and Boateng would be a better pair than anything we have seen so far,

Boateng can't even find a club.

He turned down Everton in hopes that he could end his career in Bayern. It's not a lack of ability, it's his on going court case.

But the point I am making is that those two are very consistent and predictable players, you know what they will bring. The rest of the crew is so inconsistent with the exception of Rudiger who is mostly on point.
