Maybe try using EQ to the DT1990 before buying a new headphone?
You've paid serious money for this one and if you like their look and feel, why not try to make them sound pleasing?
Here are suggested setting for Analytic Earpads and Balanced Earpads.
If you're new to the concept of parametric equalization or Harman Target, look it up. It's really worth it.
Definitely give EQ a try. I tweak my T5's only slightly in mid and it makes them perfect.
Oratory 1990 surely has some settings you can try, or you can just adjust yourself in the frequency ranges.
In my experience, switching to another headphone will just mean something else to be unhappy with.
Treble doesn’t bother me to much I use the a pads the b pads sounded more recessed to me the headphones I used before were the hd 560s
