My wife and I have our regular TV/movie watching time from around 9-11 every night.

Recently I’ve been working through some games on my Steam Deck (Pokemon GRAND Colosseum, Baldur’s Gate 3, and Control.) and have just really found that using a regular pillow to support my arms is just hot and often blocks the vents. Same issue if I use blankets, plus I feel like these don’t offer enough support.

All this to says — do you use a lap desk? If so, are you married to a particular type or brand?

I’m probably looking for more of a lap desk than a TV tray type thing.

The support is top notch too. I was an earlier adopter, and the original mount has a tendency to go soft after a while and droop. They sold an upgrade kit for just the cost of parts and it was easy to install. I also had a clip fail a year after purchase, and they sent a replacement free of charge after contacting them.

I've since bought a second for my partner. My know complaint is that the Lenovo Legion Go mount isn't as sturdy as the Steam Deck mount (single vertical clasp versus x-shaped), and if not positioned perfectly on the Lenovo it can obstruct the ventilation. I used some heat tape to secure it in place, but I wish it wasn't necessary.
