In January, I'm starting a degree program online, I'm in NE OH currently and not really sure if I want to stay here through the winter and while completing the program. I've only lived in OH (CLE) and AZ (PHX) and leaning towards returning to AZ for Spring Training; any recommendations for cities in the US to spend some time in and avoid the snow in the meantime?

I'm not very social as it is and will try to mostly focus on the degree, so nightlife and that sort of stuff doesn't really matter to me but it'd be nice to be close to good dining options/variety

I've got a dog(Am. Bully/Pit mix), so would like a place that's safe to walk around with him

Budget: would like to keep it under $1200/month if possible but could do up to $1500

Only other thing needed is legal recreational weed ๐Ÿ˜…

Any recommendations appreciated ๐Ÿ‘

Some snow is fine, just would like to avoid lake effect/snow belt region.

Any recommendations for where to stay in New Orleans for Mardi Gras season? I've been wanting to visit there for some time.

Personally I'd stay in the garden district, marigny, or bywater. With your budget you might have to stay somewhere less centrally located though.
