Really, painting the camera isn't enough, it could be cleaned and put back into service the same day. It should be smashed.
Labour is expensive though and AI ain't gonna do that shit. Cha-ching!
It's even more expensive for them to have to put up a whole new one. Why are you people coming up with less effective and destructive ways to handle it? It's like you secretly want the cameras to be there, it's extremely weird.
These cameras do much more than just record video (if it's a flock anyway). They also track every RFID, WiFi, and Bluetooth device afaik
A laser pointer in the right wavelength will destroy the sensor permanently
and also permanently damage or destroy the eyesight of innocent people nearby
