Sure, they are totally as affordable to implement widely as concrete bollards...

Camera's aren't cheap either, especially if you consider the digital infrastructure and maintenance.

They are far more affordable. The road work alone required to install the bollards is more expensive than a basic camera set up and retractable bollards also need digital infrastructure and maintenance
