Not even in the pre-Super Bowl era did the Steelers axe a coach midseason

However bad you thought Canada was, he was worse

Really no excuse to not have done it last offseason.

My guess is that since KP came in midway through last year, they were seeing how it would play out with him having a full offseason as starter in the offense. Look good in the preseason too.
