For me, it’s Devonte Graham. Idk wtf happened to him but he was THAT GUY on the hornets in 2019-2020. I haven’t heard a thing about him since though

The historic answer for almost everyone is Adrian Dantley. Highly efficient low post scorer who was like 6"3 and still couldn't be stopped. Ultimately he was a black hole and a bad defender, the Pistons began winning championships when they shipped him off for Mark Aguirre, but he is one of the single best scorers in league history and a player no one will ever duplicate. But no one ever talks about him.

Dantley is also a crossing guard in Hyattsville, Maryland. DeMatha guy, Maryland guy, one of the finest basketball players the DMV has produced.
