Yep. Just like Marcus to be honest. Anyone that has that hero ball mentality where they think they are better than they are needs to go.

Tatum is the guy, no one else. If someone is taking a contested three there, it has to be Tatum. Most of JBs shots and possessions I look at and think either Tatum could have also done that, or he would have done that even better.

Yeah last year it seemed like so many possessions ended up with the ball in smarts hands on the perimeter with only a few seconds on the shot clock.

That’s a good point though, they need to revamp the offense (not necessarily the roster) so that Tatum is the guy and everyone else plays off him. If someone is hot fine but outside of that. They’re never going to win without Tatum being that guy and if he can’t reach that level of best player on a championship team they were never gonna win anyway.

I wish coaches had the balls to bench guys for shit like this regardless of what they’re making. Not for a whole game or in crunch time or anything but just for like 2 mins at the start of the next game to send a statement that that bullshit isn’t gonna fly no matter how much you make.

I've never liked the Tatum/Brown combo for the simple reason they basically have to take turns for them to be effective. You want your best players to compliment each other and now with Porzingis and Jrue it definitely feels like Brown is the piece that doesn't fit. But as for Tatum being the guy, I have zero faith in him in crunch time. This play strikes me more like Brown thinking he's finally getting a chance at a big shot since it's always Tatum blowing it.
