For most of these NBA players making tens of millions of dollars, why would they care about a measly $500k, as to them it is nothing. And guaranteeing a playoff spot for the winner might be a little extreme, so what should the prize be? More money?

Idc how rich I was if I could get 500k for doing my job I would lol

But you also gotta think these rookies that aren’t getting millions would love the 500k. I doubt the top guys on a team aren’t gonna try when they know they are helping out the rookies or guys who don’t get paid like them.

Only thing I don’t like is the courts, they seem like an injury hazard to me.
