I kinda refuse to think the players themselves have any significant input on tanking. It's mostly on management and the coaching staff building horrible teams and keeping horrible lineups on the floor with terrible gameplans. At this level I have to imagine players always try to win with what they got, even if their playing conditions are intentionally kept subpar.
