I worry Spurs are effing up Wemby's development with the tanking. He needs to be coached out of his bad habits and bad shot selection. Are they prioritising Wemby's development or the tanking?

Best start believing in tanking stories. You’re in one!

You have an actual PG in Tre Jones but we choose to play Sochan at Pg. To me idk how this isn’t a form of tanking but the Spurs always twist the rules around

Can't tank too long. Players don't stay on same teams often anymore. Win or they move.

There’s a difference between development and tanking, ya Rottweiler.
I kinda refuse to think the players themselves have any significant input on tanking. It's mostly on management and the coaching staff building horrible teams and keeping horrible lineups on the floor with terrible gameplans. At this level I have to imagine players always try to win with what they got, even if their playing conditions are intentionally kept subpar.
You have to watch the games to understand. They're clearly a better team and show flashes of it, going up by 20 plus against good teams. When they go hard they go hard. They're trying to figure out what it takes to win as a young team, including playing hard all 48 minutes. Trust the process.
Didn't San Antonio get Robinson and Duncan in back-to-back lottery years?
Neutral outsider, I’m just curious - In the eyes of the NBA, is there a difference between “tanking” vs. prioritizing developing your young talent over maximizing wins? Do you think the Spurs seem to be doing the latter?
