I personally thought it was dumb as hell idea.

But seeing how excited my kid is about it to the point he updates me constantly when its a "tournament game daddy!" makes me realize I am just a stupid old grumpy nephew.

Not to mention the games have been great.

I’m enjoying the in season tournament as most people are because it does seem that the players are a little more competitive in them but I wish that they would just do the tournament with no other games. Stop the other regular season games and play this tournament for a month/ month and half, then start the regular season again. These games can still count as regular season and you can have more tournament games during the week instead of two.
