- No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
- Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

Are you just going to ignore my main point, they can change the rule, they learned that they cant just stand on well we will take them at their word. They have the power to make it REQUIRED to act with the peoples votes, and make the rules that need to be changed forced to be done in the open. My problem is they are just faces, none of them hold up what they say. Its all show and only go for corporate money. Make rules that require them to act on behalf of the people they represent, and hell I would love if they had to record all lobbyist meetings and also force accountability to all, even more so themselves. Structure flows downhill, if the people see they are accountable they will be much more in line to accept those kinda things in their lives.
Why are they all trading stocks? stop that shit. Open investigations, let us see what they find. Make rules to get rid of PACs instead of supporting that money. Quit shitting on candidates that are not centrist or soft right. (To be honest the whole party system sucks, but two isnt the way. But the money that shouldnt be there wont advertize those that lean left at all, and even then those people are left out in the cold) But the DNC isnt about being left its about being the 'other' party for so long they are going to have a hard time getting of that corporate money train.

They run the presidential primary, and because prior corrupt DNCs accumulated a giant war chest they got the keys and gave it back to state parties...
(Edit: threatening to withhold that money is how prior corrupt DNCs controlled party members. You seem to think we should be corrupt but in the opposite direction. That is a stupid and uninformed plan. And literally can't happen because the party already gave that money to the state parties with no strings. They can't be corrupt and wield it as a club, because they got rid of the fucking club)

It's exhausting trying to speak from knowledge to people who think their fucking guess at how things work is somehow equivalent to your lifetime of direct experience. But politically "active" Americans who spend lots of time commenting about it, but have never tried to learn about it anywhere besides social media are just the fucking worst.
Like I get it, for 30 years "DNC bad" was good enough.
But shit finally fucking changed, and there's a never ending stream of very ignorant and very loud accounts, with a noticable uptick as soon as the primaries were over and the general is rapidly approaching.
And I stead of paying the slightest bit of attention, they only want to tell people that the DNC is trash and somehow the best way to stop Republicans is not vote for the progressive Dems running against them in the general.
None of it makes logical sense, but they just keep repeating the same shit the oligarch owned media does.
