why is no one talking about this point. MS shows its financials, its all Azure which is run on linux. Why would you fight for market share on a thing that is the biggest drag on your money maker. You spend how much in lawyers and PR on a product that MAYBE hit 10% or your overall costs. You wanna spend how much on drivers for everything, when the big boy in the room can dictate what devices work on YOUR OWN SERVERS that makes 75% of your cash. Nah milk that base for all its worth til it goes away.

I've never heard it said that way, all the people I have heard say this saying have always used the broken term and it always bothered me.

This saying bothers me, this assumes the clock is not running, a working clock could not be running, but a broken clock could just lose a minute a day, and it would never be right but a few times a year.

Ahhh yes, the telcos, all of whom have lost all their customer information many times over with no real consequences, but those same people have had their credit ruined. This cant go wrong letting them have copies of peoples IDs which now will have their signature on record so that convincing IDs can be made from.
