He’s .1 ahead of Tatum in both PER and WS while .4 ahead in BPM. Is KP the real MVP for the Celtics?/s Jokes aside it’s good to see him playing well and continuing to be an impact player even though his 3 point shooting (33%) hasn’t been at its typically levels. Furthermore, it’s worth nothing that despite his relatively poor 3 point shooting he still has the highest TS and EFG percentages of his career so far this season.

Has Porzingis or anyone else ever talked about how he virtually never shoots from the corner? He takes nearly all his threes from above the break, to an almost absurd degree. He's taken ONE corner attempt so far this season.

It's kind of weird and it holds pretty true throughout his career. Even if it wasn't his preference, you'd think that just by random chance he'd get one or two corner attempts a game.

Obviously his role is not to be spotting up in the corner all the time like a PJ Tucker, but ideally you'd want him to be able to sometimes do that.
