It’s clear as day that these guys are cooked as far as HC potential goes.

The Panthers looked the same against the Cowboys as they have all year. I’m a Bryce Young believer but Reich isn’t doing shit to develop him. It wouldn’t surprise me if the locker bailed on him at this point.

Brandon Staley did his usual job of playing down to competition and then losing to said competition. His presser was like watching Ryan Leaf yell at the reporter. He calls the defense but the defense is why they lose. Those reckless penalties are killers too

Point is it would make sense for both these coaches to get fired now but do you guys think that’ll happen?

Edit: I’m definitely in the camp of Staley should’ve been canned after the playoff loss. Mainly just wondering if losing to Green Bay was rock bottom enough

By all rights, Staley shoulda been shitcanned after his epic choke job in the 1st round playoff game last season when his D (which he's oh so proud to be calling lol) blew a 28 point lead. Now it's past midway thru the 2023 season and his D still blows and he's wasting a QB who talent-wise is in the top five QBs in the league. And it's already apparent the Bolts ain't gonna make the playoffs.

But here's the thing: the Spanos family has historically been very patient and kind to their HCs. Going way back to the days where Dan Coryell's Air Show used to score 45 points and lose. Staley acts like he knows the Spanos' ain't gonna can him. That's why the little shit was so defiant in the presser. I'd bet money Mr Spanos sat him down after that playoff meltdown and patted his hand and assured him he had a job for as long as he wanted. Spanos is a nice guy, and you know what they say about nice guys...
