I had these. They had the option to rent, rather than buy, for something like $10/month. Sound was amazing, maybe the best I've heard, apparently that funky in-ear thing allows it to customise the sound profile to your eat canal. Build quality was superb. After a couple of hours or so they'd start hurting where it pressed inside the ear. I stuck with it for a couple of months in case I could adapt, didn't, so sent it back and cancelled subscription, all with no drama or regrets. Still miss the quality of the sound though.
I really, really do not want to know what they did with the ones from the cancelled subscriptions
Hopefully an alcohol bath for non-replaceable parts and contact parts were replaced entirely
