I was at work, talking to someone my own income.

I asked him to name some things that he'd buy with a billion dollars that he couldn't get with $100 million.

He couldn't actually name one thing, but kept insisting that billionaires 'needed' the money.

Funny enough I feel like presidents and other officials would be shockingly cheap, monetarily.

Like you'd probably see a literal "Bribe to destroy most potable water in a major city to build another data center" or something and go "Wait for real? Just for like 5 million?!"

Like they're already so rich they'll sell us all out in a heartbeat to toss 2 more gold coins into their gold coin swimming pool.

I bet they get a lot further simply with promises of access to their network of other wealthy a-holes who are influential simply because they're wealthy, and wealthy because they're influential.

There's a reason Epstein's island was a common factor to so many of the wealthy international global elite.

Ugh. 🤢

Haha, 5 million? They would do that for 50k, a fancy dinner and a first class plane ticket.

I mean... he couldn't come up with mega yacht?

That gets you into the hundreds of millions. Bezos is estimated at 500 million. Its not even the most expensive.

He's gotta work on his money spending skills.

A hundred million doesn't even cover its yearly operating costs at a safe 4% withdrawal. You need 750 million for that.
