"evaluate" in this instances means "fire". Why pretend otherwise?

Does "unforeseen circumstances" in this case mean "an alien race steals the power of NFL superstars and challenges Tom Brady and the Looney Tunes to a game, somehow allowing the Commanders into the postseason and preventing an alien Danny DeVito from kidnapping Bugs and Daffy?"
