KD went from 35 to 7 but for some reason 35 will always be his legacy for me.

Paul George did 24 to 13.

I guess players might change numbers across teams but what are examples of players changing it on the same franchise.

Iā€™m pretty sure Ant Edwards changed from 5 to 1

Tracy McGrady on the Rockets wore 1 but switched to 3 (which to me, is more associated with the man he was traded for; Steve Francis).

Meanwhile, Francis wore 3 in Houston and Orlando but changed to 1 (a number more commonly associated with T-Mac) in New York, only to have McGrady also later play in New York, but again, wearing the 3 more commonly associated with Francis.
