I noticed there wasn't a TST Lemmy community. The Satanic Temple is a modern satanic religion that aims to promote human rights and compassion. Check out their about page on their official website at https://thesatanictemple.com/pages/about-us. Note that this community is not an official affiliation. TST is also separate and not affiliated with the Church of Satan, who have a slightly different viewpoint of what satanism truly is. Nothing shows disrespect for the country they live in like christians getting uppity with non christians.
The fact that they thought that "Krampus costume contest" meant "we're going to beat children" is just so ridiculous. Nobody would dare to block a Catholic event with children attending, and the Catholics have multiple verified cases of children being abused by them, over decades, with coverups!
Yeah, but they're also known for raping kids and that's considered a family friendly Republican Christian Nationalist past-time.
