I was terrified with what I heard the Liberals were ready to fold on to get a deal. I am beyond happy we are in a situation of walking away. There is nothing to gain caving on anything anymore. The US will not follow through on their agreements anyway. Give them nothing.

I think we need to focus on hard divesting from the US and focusing on our sovereignty. Cut out Microsoft, Oracle and Google from government use. Ban Facebook for its constant criminal behaviour. Remove all our data from US located or US owned datacenters. Slam Amazon on its appalling labour practices. Make Netflix pay into our culture like all media providers.

Have our laws and values respected on our soil. No more soft ball to American corporations.

The data has to off of American company data centers. Just having the data in Canada is not good enough.

Exactly, the Cloud Act is a threat to everyone's privacy and national security.
