I feel like that cat is far too symmetrical to naturally have that coloration, and that someone painted this cat. Which is messed up tbh

I had the same idea. The fluffiness on the fur (especially top right photo) looks off too. The letters on the packaging are Chinese / Japanese too and I believe it is or was a trend there for a while. Poor cat…

Either that or it’s AI slop getting better.

Probably just dyed. I worked in boarding and grooming for decades. People would get their cats and dogs dyed all the time. While this is perhaps more intricate than I've seen personally, it's certainly not, in my experience, a natural color pattern.
