Work Reform

A place to discuss positive changes that can make work more equitable, and to vent about current practices. We are NOT against work; we just want the fruits of our labor to be recognized better.
Our Philosophies:
- All workers must be paid a living wage for their labor.
- Income inequality is the main cause of lower living standards.
- Workers must join together and fight back for what is rightfully theirs.
- We must not be divided and conquered. Workers gain the most when they focus on unifying issues.
Our Goals
- Higher wages for underpaid workers.
- Better worker representation, including but not limited to unions.
- Better and fewer working hours.
- Stimulating a massive wave of worker organizing in the United States and beyond.
- Organizing and supporting political causes and campaigns that put workers first.

My dad is maga. The reason he would say is the teachers union protects bad teachers and just shuffles them around.
Don’t agree with it but that’s the talking point.
But that's what cops do
And priests
Honestly, if someone finds the original post and "inspect element" to change this to police, it might be enough to get a reaction out of maga.
Well, you can't choose your parents...
Are people really upset at... bad teachers? with everything else going on?? Like I also had a few bad teachers as a kid, but I also had a future with a biosphere that can sustain life. Maybe we should focus on the actually existential one here.
No maga is focused on things that really matter instead, like the 5 or 6 trans women in sports
he seems to be confusing it with catholic priests? they shuffle them around for sure, and also any evangelical pastors too. "terrible teachers" usually get booted from the industry quite quickly.
Where "bad teacher" is "teacher who taught the kids critical thinking and science so they started asking uncomfortable questions".
"They made me parent! They made me... (sobs) think"
I think he's confused them with police unions.
